*(When you receive an email from Hackney School of Food confirming your booking you will be asked to complete a short pre-arrival questionnaire detailing any food allergies/ medical needs etc. in the group attending).
Schools interested in booking sessions at the Hackney School of Food should complete this Booking Enquiry Form in the first instance. A member of HSOF staff will respond with confirmation of the dates booked for your school.

Prices:
Half Day (2hours) – £260
Half Day plus lunch (2.5hours) – £320
Full Day (4.5hours) – £450
All-day sessions will begin at 1000 and will be finished by 1500. This will include time for a lunch break.
Half-day sessions are designed to run as below and do not include a break.
Morning lessons will start at 1000 and finish at 1200.
Afternoon lessons will begin at 1300 and finish at 1500.
We can adjust our start and end times for each school visiting to accomodate travel to and from the Hackney School of Food.
All lessons will need to start promptly in order for us to cover the material. Therefore, please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure we have ample time to get the class settled and ready to go.
Half and Full Day Sessions
Our EY & KS1 lessons are 2 hours long, they can be booked for either morning or afternoon sessions.
Our KS2 lessons will include 4 hours of teaching, with additional time for a lunch break. Lunch will be provided in the form of the dishes created during the morning session. These lessons are adaptable to run as half-day sessions if required. They are adaptable, and can be broken into 2-hour lessons, which can then be booked for the morning or afternoon slot.
Half-day sessions can be bolstered with time spent in our garden, which will consist of seasonal activities. These will range from planting out seedlings, building growing structures, harvesting the produce, and even a chance for beekeeping. Our large polytunnel enables gardening projects to take place over the colder months.

Travel to Hackney School of Food
Hackney School of Food actively encourages visitors, staff and pupils to use sustainable modes of transport to travel to the school when possible. There is limited parking on the roads surrounding the school.
Cycling to our school:
We have a secure cycle shelter within the school grounds that visitors are welcome to use.

Trains/Tube:
The nearest overground train station is Homerton, and is approximately 10 minutes from Mandeville. (Walk down Chatsworth Road, then right onto Millfields road).
If you wanted to enjoy a stroll through Millfields Park then you could get off at Clapton overground station and it should take around 15 minutes from there.
