Our bright, airy kitchen is a purpose-built teaching environment. It has ten height adjustable workstations for students, plus a teaching station. The individual workstations are big enough for cooking in pairs. In total, we can accommodate groups of up to thirty. It’s a highly adaptable space that can be adjusted and moved around to suit different events, cookery lessons and workshops.

All workstations are fully equipped. Our four-ring induction hobs allow for versatility and safety whilst cooking. It’s the perfect place to learn everything from knife skills to butchery and making creative meals from scratch.

Our Rational Combi-Oven, with its ten shelves, is easy to use and offers great cooking control, regardless of whether you are roasting vegetables, grilling meats, steam poaching fish or baking bread. Our catering fridge provides ample space to store ingredients and food for lessons and events.

We have a separate hand-washing sink as you enter the kitchen, plus a spacious washup area with four sinks and two hose-spray taps. Our below-counter Meiko dishwasher enables us to provide extra workspace.

The classroom overlooks our kitchen garden. This is another flexible space which allows us to cook outside.

Amongst the raised growing beds is an outside workstation with a large Gozney wood-fired oven. Our oven has enough space for up to six pizzas at a time.

We also have a firepit for outdoor cooking, where it’s possible to create the wonderful flavours required for charred and smoky dishes.
