The Hackney School of Food is made up of a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen and a garden that supplies many of our fresh ingredients. Together they support our vision of inspiring a love of food in children and our community. Through teaching a ‘seed to spoon’ approach to food production and preparation, we provide people with the knowledge, confidence and cooking skills to prepare inexpensive, tasty and nutritious meals.
The school is a welcoming space in the heart of the community where chefs of all ages and abilities can come together to learn about and celebrate food.
