Snacks Masterclass

9 June

Ever wondered what to do with those bruised apples and black bananas lurking in the bottom or your fruit bowl? Want to know how to create nourishing snacks for you and your family when you’re on the go?

Well, we have the cookery workshop for you!

Join us as Rachel Boyett of @littleveggieeats takes over the School of Food kitchen to share brand new recipes plus some old favourites from her book. During the class you will:

Learn how to make a number of Little Veggie Eats’ famous kids snacks
Learn how to adapt recipes to cook with the season and depending on what’s lurking in your fruit bowl or the back of your fridge.

Hear more about Rachel’s experience of weaning and feeding three vegetarian children.


Children over 7 are welcome to join us in the kitchen.

Summer cooking club

Every Tuesday from 18 April – 11 July, 3.45pm – 5.15pm

Get your kids feeling confident in the kitchen! With a different recipe each week, we’ll cover a wide variety of skills and flavours, even harvesting seasonal produce straight from our gardens.

Over 65s Cooking & Exercise class

Every Friday until 21 April, 10am-1pm

We have a few sessions left in this series. If you’re over 65, come and learn a new recipe or two, get some gentle exercise, and meet new people!

Parent’s cooking & exercise class

Every Friday from 9 June, 10am -1pm

These free cooking and exercise classes are a great chance for parents to learn weight management tips, and how to make delicious, low-cost, family-friendly dishes while enjoying some gentle exercise.
